About Our Facilitator: Rachael Segal
Rachael Segal brings extensive political experience to this conversation. She holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Victoria and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Osgoode Hall Law School. Her career spans policy roles on Parliament Hill, leadership in political organizations, and advisory positions for campaigns at all levels of government across Canada.

Beyond politics, Rachael has worked in broadcast media and education, serving as a university lecturer at the Joy MacPhail School of Public Policy and a contributor for CBC’s Power & Politics. In 2023, she launched Beyond a Ballot, a podcast and platform dedicated to increasing women’s political engagement through media, education, and community-building.
