The Give-A-Thon will be taking place Virtually with some portions of it coming live out of Cowork Chilliwack. All donations will be accepted over the phone, via text or through this event page!
Chilliwack residents who are still working and wish to contribute can do so during the Give-A-Thon in one of three ways;

3) Cheques can be made payable to the Chilliwack Chamber of Commerce and mailed to 46115 Yale Rd, Chilliwack, BC, V2P 2P2.
4) Call 604-793-4323 and donate via the phone! Tax receipts will be issued for every donation $25 and more. Your name, address and phone number will be required upon donation. This can be filled out in the 'Notes' section when donating.

We are very excited to be hosting this fun-filled day of giving! This initiative portrays the very heart of Chilliwack; one of Kindness, Giving, Paying it Forward, Volunteerism and an overall sense gratitude as we work together to help our participating and fundamental non-profit organizations.
The Give-A-Thon was created to fill fundraising shortfalls due to events and other activities cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. As you can imagine, we have been overwhelmed with requests from various groups and feel the need to provide clarity regarding the organizations participating and receiving funds from this event.
Funds raised during the Give-A-Thon will be administered to support organizations that work directly to provide Basic Needs - food, water, shelter and security - for vulnerable and/or needy citizens in our community (reference: Maslow’s hierarchy of needs). These basic physiological needs are the key things the Give-A-Thon committee feels the need to address during this COVID-19 pandemic.
At the same time, we certainly recognize the incredible work done by so many deserving organizations and service groups in our community. Although we would love to be able to support all valued organizations in Chilliwack, the funds raised will not be diverted away from organizations that work directly to provide basic needs.
