Practical AI in Action, Part 2 with Colin Cox

Practical AI in Action, Part 2 with Colin Cox

October 13, 2026 (3:00 PM - 5:00 PM) (PDT)

Description

Join Colin Cox for a hands-on follow-up to Practical AI in Action.

Most people using AI today are still typing a question into an empty chat window and getting a generic answer back. The difference between occasional use and meaningful productivity gains comes down to setup rather than budget or technical skill. This session is about making AI part of how your business actually runs.

In this interactive workshop, you'll build the tools and systems that turn AI from an occasional helper into a daily business tool. Working on your own laptop, you'll create a context file so AI understands your business and communication style, develop a repeatable playbook for a task you perform regularly, and learn review processes that help ensure quality outputs.

Topics covered include:

  • Building a business context file
  • Improving prompts using proven frameworks
  • Creating repeatable AI workflows and playbooks
  • Using deep research tools effectively
  • Scheduled tasks and automations
  • Protecting client and financial information when using AI
  • Reviewing and validating AI-generated work before it leaves your organization

Participants will leave with practical tools they can immediately apply in their work, including a customized context file, a repeatable AI workflow, and a clear understanding of where AI can provide the greatest value in their organization.

Who Should Attend?

This workshop is intended for business owners, managers, team leads, and professionals who attended the original Practical AI in Action session or who already use AI on a regular basis and want to take their skills further. This is not a beginner-level session.

Please Bring

  • A laptop An AI account you can access (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar)
  • One recurring task from your own work that you'd like to improve using AI
